July 23, 2019 – Vaughan, Ontario – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada - Enabling Accessibility Funds

Today, Francesco Sorbara, the Member of Parliament for Vaughan-Woodbridge announced a contribution of $47, 276 to Magnotta Winery Corporation, to research and expand sale growth.

This project, funded under Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will enable the company to research and expand sales growth by gaining new distributors and retail partners through tradeshows, product demonstrations and expansion into the Asian markets.

This investment is made possible from our Government’s large AAFC program, which has already helped many processors across Canada.

With this contribution, Magnotta Winery is expected to increase production, inputs and exports sales, while introducing new products to additional market and creating well-paying jobs to benefit all Canadians.

Magnotta winery also received $50,000 under the Enabling Accessibility Fund, which will allow Magnotta to complete their elevator, making their wine cellar accessible for all customers coming through their doors.
